Department Overview



Enterprise Protect consists of teams across North America, whose mandate is to protect TD customers, colleagues and shareholders from financial crimes and fraud. Collectively our businesses lead TD’s enterprise-wide fraud, cyber threat, and technology risk strategies, advance analytics capabilities,

and drive operational efficiency to improve governance, oversight and collaboration between fraud management and other functions within the Bank. The Digitization, Optimization, & Enhanced Simplification (DOES) team works within the Fraud Strategy function of Enterprise Protect to support Fraud management & operations for TD Canada Trust, MBNA, and TD America's Most Convenient Bank (AMCB).





Job Description



Reporting to the Senior Manager - Digitization, Optimization, & Enhanced Simplification, the Sr. Business Analyst will work alongside Fraud Strategy, Enterprise Technology, and most importantly, Canadian Fraud Management (CFM) and US Fraud Management (USFM) teams to conduct root cause analysis and change impact assessments in support of our 60+ process automations. The successful candidate will lead the requirements, testing planning and delivery of change requests in alignment of with the business and / or enterprise needs & strategies; they will further ensure all process documentation and release notes are kept current. This individual will work collaboratively with stakeholders including business, technology and finance partners to support benefits tracking and changes to business processes, policies and systems across single or multiple Lines of Business (LOB)



The successful candidate will be an exceptional problem solver and communicator capable of using simplified language to describe issues, risks and impact. The position requires a candidate who is adaptable and capable of assembling varied information to tell a compelling story as a case for action. Experience with agile techniques, requirements gathering, data modeling, business case construction, knowledge management, and change management are desired.



Specific deliverables & accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:



- Primary business support for our current suite of over 60+ process automations.

- Work in partnership with LOB SMEs to conduct detailed assessments for technology changes with potential impacts to launched RPAs.

- Work with internal teams to identify critical success factors and integrate appropriate cost, quality, and risk mitigating strategies into project plans.

- Contribute to problem and event management efforts as needed, working with team members to ensure the root cause is identified and a resolution is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

- Completion of control documents and ensure currency post-launch of program & support documents.

- Regularly monitoring the performance of our digital workforce and recommend rebalancing when needed.

- Participate / lead partner discussions when needed.

- Support business casing and analysis of new opportunities.

- Ensure business teams will adapt to changes by:

- Documenting requirements, processes, & test scenarios

- Managing fraud testing, track defects

- Providing input into Change Management plans

- Aligning operational readiness with program critical paths.

- Monitoring post-implementation to ensure benefits are achieved





- Educate business teams on the capabilities, benefits, and challenges of robotics process automation (RPA), Power Apps and other process simplification tools, as well as ensuring teams understand what net new processes may need to be introduced into a business group after the introduction or change of a process automation.



Requirements



- Undergraduate degree, preferably with a business or technology major.

- 5-7 years relevant experience in a Business Analyst or Technology support type role.

- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, as this role interfaces with a broad range of partners and leaders.

- Ability to communicate clearly and transparently; demonstrate due diligence and attention to detail.

- Proven time management skills with an advanced ability to manage & plan concurrent workstreams, implement and evaluate program / project activities to ensure completion of initiatives.

- Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills.

- Demonstrated innovation, creativity with strong critical thinking, quantitative and problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable driving change and working with ambiguity.

- Working knowledge of change management techniques and practices.

- Experienced at preparing executive level presentations.

- Experience using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques would be considered an asset.

- Experience using Alteryx would be an asset.
