Your Opportunity:


The WCB Program Analyst works with the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team to which they are assigned and reports directly to that team's WHS Manager. This position manages short duration time loss WCB claims and no time loss claims through the effective use of the modified work program. The WCB Program Analyst provides complete administrative and process management support related to WCB claims. This position is integral to WCB claims management and ensuring that all managers, injured employees and external stakeholders are familiar with AHS' modified work process. This role manages the working relationship that occurs among the WCB, the employee,

the supervisor and other stakeholders to ensure a safe and successful return to work for all injured employees. This position operates with key deadlines and expectation for delivery of information. The WCB Program Analyst is vital in ensuring that all stakeholders involved with an occupational injury/illness has the information and tools they need to produce a successful outcome. The WCB Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the timeliness of organizational reporting to WCB in conjunction with legislative requirements.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum Disability Management Diploma or equivalent education; or a related Degree from a post secondary institution. Minimum two years experience in Case or Claims Management. Competence in Microsoft Office products and a good command of the English language is essential. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Facilitation and conflict management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a health care setting, with large employers and in unionized environments is preferred.
