About the role
We’re looking for a Bilingual Disability Analyst to join our Claims HR team! This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in any Intact location.
As a member of a team of HR Analysts, you will be responsible for managing disability files and provide reports and metrics to the HR Claims teams across Canada. We will also count on you to support your HR Claims colleagues across Canada and perform a variety of HR tasks (e.g. confidential letters, special projects). You will be just as comfortable working independently as you are collaborating virtually with colleagues across various cities.
What you'll do here:
Provide end to end disability case management including:
Advise and guide managers and employees on disability leave (short and long term)
Track files with employees, managers and external suppliers involved in this process
Explain the impact on pay, benefits and employment relationships throughout the absence until a full-time return to work
Manage return-to-work arrangements
Create reports, perform analysis and identify trends ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of the data and information
Provide administrative support to HR Claims colleagues across various teams
Participate in HR projects and initiatives
What you bring to the table:
A post-secondary education with an HR focus (preferred) plus a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience within an HR team
Bilingual – Strong oral and written in both French and English
Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products, with Power BI experience considered an asset
Exceptional ability to provide customer service to a diverse, remote workforce
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others
Proven planning and organization skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
A flexible, agile, and resilient mindset while working in a dynamic and fast paced team environment
Approach change and opportunities with a positive, resourceful can-do attitude
Here are a few reasons why others have joined our team:
An award-winning, inspiring workplace that supports its people and recognizes great work
Stimulating, challenging projects and development opportunities to help you grow your skills and career
A comprehensive financial rewards program that recognizes your success
An extensive, flexible benefits package
An industry leading Employee Share Purchase Plan where we match 50% of net shares purchased
A $350 annual wellness account that promotes an active lifestyle
Flexible Work Arrangements
Right now, we support 100% remote work, if your role permits. We anticipate that in November, we’ll be moving to a hybrid approach which gives us the best of both worlds – a mix of home and in-office workdays.
