- Post-secondary diploma

Excel and any form of dealer software

- Problem solving skills

- Well organized and enthusiastic; dependable

- Assets to be considered: previous or relevant experience, accounting knowledge, CDK software experience, technical knowledge of automotive parts

How will you fit in the Bannister World? What will your role entail?

You will be responsible for determining and entering the applicable labour operations, codes and time required to pay technicians on warranty jobs. Review every warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy and eligibility according to manufacturer and company polies and procedures. Work closely with the Service Manager and Fixed Operations Directors in coordination with service advisors, technicians, body shop and tower operator to make sure proper procedures are followed and adapting as necessary. Reconciliation of all warranty receivables with payments and journal entries to appropriate accounting schedules. Follow up with factory, distributors and manager regarding unclaimed claims. Communication with the parts department to ensure parts are dealt with and discarding after the appropriate time and to create and process any parts related warranty claims as needed. Be familiar and continues train to know all manufacturer and company policies and procedures. Work with Service Manager to ensure good relations with both Warranty Claims department and Factory warranty representatives to ensure good standings. Keep up to date with all factory recalls, bulletins, special policies in order to stream line and ensure efficient warranty claims process.
