What you will do 

You will lead the product management efforts for our communicators and receiver lines in a market leading company in the Security field. From new product introduction (NPI) through end of life (EOL), this product management position is responsible for leading the strategy and execution for an agile cross-functional product management organization through definition, integration, validation and release of functional product requirements. Whether new features or maintenance updates, it remains essential that this position collaborate closely with external partners, customers, Technical Account Managers (TAM), global Engineering departments and various functional business unit stakeholders.

How you will do it 

- Define and drive communication strategies to implement a prioritized features roadmap for NPI and existing product feature releases.

- Capture, organize and communicate Customer, Partner and TAM requirements with Hardware Engineering, Software Development, System QA and Sales to releases on schedule.

- Manage external relationships with major partners on a daily/weekly basis.

- Develop feature release processes with key stakeholders and division leadership team.

- Actively defines and manages product lifecycle, EOL & Customer transition planning.

- Conducts and communicates voice of market, voice of business unit, and voice of developer needs to continuously improve Product Management processes.

- Define success metrics/KPIs for features release quality, predictability and track performance.

What we look for 


- Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) in computers, networking or demonstrated experience in applied field.

- Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of product experience including requirements definition, management of engineering cycles, interaction design, user research, and usability testing.

- Familiarity with communication protocols, including global cellular networks incl. 3-5 years’ experience on communication products.

- Experience in a high volume, fast paced development environment for both hardware and software.

- Familiarity with communication protocols, including global cellular networks.

- Existing knowledge of residential security and automation solutions.

- Existing relationships with security industry alliance partners.

- Show leadership within ambiguous situations and drive closure to complex problems.

- Balanced contribution of listening, technical, analytical skills, and problem interpretation into technical product requirements.

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.

- Must be comfortable and have experience working with daily interactions with colleagues in a global enterprise.

- Travel may be required to support integrations, customer integrations or launch.  


- Experience in product management and product development, with certification in Pragmatic Institute, Proficientz, Blackbot or AIPMM preferred
