What you will do

- We are looking for a charismatic technical sales/system designer with IP video experience. This position will bridge the gap between solutions management and sales. It is a customer facing pro-active sales/systems design position,

where you will help direct and structure how we maximize our customer’s profitability and their customer’s experience.



How you will do it



- Work hand in hand with the Account Manager on new solutions to solve real problems that the retailer is experiencing in their business.

- Leverage you’re existing network within the Security Industry to design a solution to the retailer’s problem.

- Identify/coordinate products to solve the problem.

- Negotiate pricing from distribution/manufacturer for said solution.

- Prepare presentations/drawings to help sell the solution and transfer to Project Management.

- Stay current with industry trends and be familiar with the latest technology on the market.





What we look for



- 5 years of system design experience, preferable within the IP Video field.

- Experience with CAD drawings

- Proficient in Excel

- Good understanding of pricing including margins and foreign exchange. 

- Comfortable working alone and managing your own schedule.

- Ambitious, dynamic, independent, and personable.

- Excellent presentation skills - Technical enough to present to an IT person but personable enough to explain the technology to a non-technical person.

- Be able to travel (Canada/USA). Business travel 10%
