YOUR CHALLENGE!



Reporting to the Sales Controller, the Finance Estimator’s mission is to support the sales team in the determination of products’ selling prices by taking manufacturing costs, volume, logistics costs and any other conditionS that may affect profitability into account, in order to meet business objectives. You master all the manufacturing processes and have an excellent knowledge of the business sectors in which you operate which allows you to establish adequate and rigorous pricing for our customers. Finally,

you have a key role in various discount programs’ management and you constantly adapt to internal/external changes in order to make the product offering as profitable as possible and to effectively meet the sales department’s needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



Set prices with rigour and impartiality​



Validate and process pricing information in a timely and accurate manner​



Help maintain an effective internal control structure to minimize the business risks inherent in operations and fraud​



Maintain prices​



Ensure that business rules are adhered to​



Make the product offer as profitable as possible​​



Carry out your work with rigour and precision in accordance with the business objectives set by your manager​



Organize all your activities to respond effectively and efficiently to the needs of the sales department​



Adapt your ways of doing things according to internal and external needs and changes 





QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



Finance background/degree/diploma



2 years experience in Finance/Accounting (margins, costs, etc)



Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)​



Knowledge of SAP software or other ERP (an asset)
