Woof Concept is currently hiring a new Operation Associate to support our warehouse and office operations. Woof Concept is a fast growing premium pet lifestyle company headquartered in Vancouver, BC with distribution networks in Canada, US, Chile, South Korea, Australia and Singapore.
This position is responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and supplier relationships.
Operations / Shipping and Receiving
- Pick/pack/ship online and retail orders
- Quality Control of products before its shipped to the customer
- Coordinate with other operations and production staff members for raw material top up and preparation
- Get accurate freight quotes
- Work with suppliers on shipments
- book docking times with customers and prepare export documents
Purchasing
- Generate Purchase Orders for supplies
- Follow up and update delivery dates of purchase orders
- Process Receiving Transactions
- Assist in sourcing, qualifying, and grading vendors
While on the job training is provided, the ideal candidate will have some knowledge of:
- eCommerce Platforms such as Shopify, Square Space, Wix etc.
- Shipping and logistics
- prepare export and import documents
- Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook,)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Self-starter
- Attention to detail is a MUST
