Qualifications include:
- Grade 12 education or educational equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year Storekeeper/Inventory Control Experience with a large organization.
- Operating Room/Cysto/PACU clinical product knowledge required.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and knowledge.
- Must be able to organize supply carts to optimize volumes and shelf space and maximize efficiencies for users.
- Demonstrated ability to use lean principles to stock and label carts efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer applications such as SAP/SRM and Microsoft Excel for ordering, tracking, and receiving preferred.
- Must demonstrate an ability to understand and comply with store keeping and inventory procedures and methods.
- Demonstrated ability to use OR Information System (PICIS) for inventory management preferred.
- Demonstrated initiative & proven ability to work independently and to complete work in a timely manner.
- Must be accurate, thorough and detail-minded.
- Must be willing and flexible to work on various projects when required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team player.
- Satisfactory attendance record.
