IT Financial Management – Canadian Tire Corporation



What you’ll do



IT Financial Management supports the day-to-day operations needed for effective management and reporting on IT IS costs across all IT business units. Reporting to the AVP, IT Asset Management, Delivery and ServiceNow, the IT Financial Manager is responsible for driving out the ITFM roadmap, building and managing the ITFM practice (teams/people, processes and tools) and maintaining the strong relationships with other teams necessary to support appropriate management of our IT IS costs and enable key business decisions. Specifically, the IT Financial Manager is responsible for:



- Planning & reforecasting for IT sustaining costs (monthly, quarterly, annually, key reforecasts and proforma);

- Management of the IT Invoice processing workflow for IT sustaining costs;

- Management of the month-end, quarter-end and year-end process and activities for IT sustaining costs;

- Support financial reviews as part of the IT procurement workflow;

- External (vendor) and internal escalation point for IT billing and payment, tax audit and other IT financial related issues;

- Facilitating alignment with FP&A; on of month-end, quarter-end and year-end reports and key reforecasts as well as any IS savings opportunities;

- Providing direction, guidance and support to the IT Financial Management team;

- Supporting the SACM (IT Asset Management) team and Vendor Management team on necessary financial information, and;

- Continuing to drive the evolution of ITFM tools, processes and general capabilities.

What you bring



- 5 years experience on management of IT sustaining costs

- CPA preferred

- Cost management/reporting skills to support all month/quarter/year-end reporting, proforma and forecasting

- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to interact at the executive level

- Strong analytical skills and financial analysis and planning abilities

- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage vendors and vendor escalations

- Proficient with IT platforms and larger software vendors

- Proficient with Nicus or similar financial management tool

- General IT Asset Management knowledge and experience
