As a member of the TELUS Partner Solutions (TPS) Connected & Autonomous Vehicle Services (CAVS) team, you will contribute to delivering the TPS strategic vision of “bringing a world of possibilities to our customers and the best of TELUS to the connected world”.

In the Senior Consultant role, you’ll be a key member of the team that will build our CAVS portfolio, and lead TELUS to becoming a world-class partner for automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s). We will build partnerships throughout the industry in order to become the premiere telecommunications partner for the automotive industry in Canada.

This will be achieved by leveraging our world-leading network and cloud based technologies to build solutions for OEM’s that need to incorporate innovative networking capabilities. You’ll be working with a team of product managers, sales specialists, and engineers looking to deliver the future of telecommunications services for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities include:

- Work with TPS Sales team to promote, position and sell TELUS’ superior capabilities to OEMs by discussing the approach, value, and core capabilities

- Oversee the planning and successful delivery of large, complex, high risk projects/engagements

- Provide coaching and mentoring to CAVS and support team members

- Provide thought leadership in the development of core capabilities

- Support channel and product marketing efforts for CAVS portfolio

- Consult on advanced research and maintain thought leadership within and outside of the CAVS team

- Provide strategic leadership on solutions for complex proposals (unsolicited and RFP driven)

- Perform business development activities that support the pipeline and the TPS CAVS sales organization

Required Skills and Knowledge:

- Superior TELUS applications product and service knowledge in automotive OEM space

- Superior consulting skills and able to interact and advise to executive level clients

- Strong business and financial acumen supported by strong industry and competitive knowledge

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Superior presentation skills and able to present to both a technical and non-technical audience at all levels of an organization

- Experience in the automotive industry and related sectors

- Ability to maintain control of projects with exceptional leadership ability in resolving conflicting priorities, discrepancies, roadblocks and change requirements

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

- University degree

- MBA is an asset

Required Experience:

- 5+ years’ experience managing products through the product lifecycle from conceptualization through implementation, go-to-market and post implementation

- Business case development supporting new product introduction

- Marketing strategy development supporting go-to-market activities for new products and services

- Product strategy planning and roadmap development

- Project management including progress reporting and stakeholder updates

- Experience managing external partners and vendors and complex resource alignment
