Duties:
Schedule, coordinate and prioritize repairs in order to meet or exceed, operations, drivers and fleet asset requirements
Assess repairs needed and delegate to most qualified technician
Open work orders; assign work roster entries based on priority
Communicate with Operations & Customers the expected time the unit will be in the shop, delays and/or special instructions
Supervise technical and wash bay activities
Receive and address incoming calls, provide customer service for walk ins and over-the-road breakdowns
Review DOT regulations
Assessing off-site repairs with assistance of customer information and qualified technician
Data entry, purchase orders, warranties, audits, communication with vendors and reporting
Accurately and in a timely manner, process parts invoices for payment and put parts into stock
Identify and process warranty claims on a daily basis. Complete the claim accurately and timely with all supporting documentation, submit and follow up on claims to ensure prompt recovery of monies owing.
Requirements:
Post-secondary education an asset (not required)
Service or parts experience preferred
Organizational and time management skills are a must
Computer aptitude a strong asset
Procedural consistency very important
Monday to Friday Day Shift
