As the Director Project Performance Management, you will provide vision, strategic leadership and management oversight of the conceptualization, integration and implementation of enterprise-wide project technical functions support, oversight and controls. You will facilitate project success through the implementation and maintenance of the assessments required to develop, review and approve project proposals.

What you will do:

Provides strategic leadership by:

- Participating in the strategic direction by providing input into the development, articulation and implementation of the vision, goals and objectives. This is accomplished by applying knowledge of the enterprise service, operations and stakeholder vision and broad expertise.

- Providing strategic executive level support to enterprise-wide executives by ensuring that goals and objectives are translated into rolling multi-year strategies and detailed Key Performance Indicators that integrate the activities of the department with those of internal and external partners over the short and long term.

- Leading teams of professionals responsible for developing recommendations that provide the basis for making multi-year, multi-billion-dollar, critical business decisions.

Provides operational leadership by:

- Supporting a sophisticated internal customer portfolio. Providing governance, standards, policies, metrics and reporting that meet the needs of all stakeholders within Projects, across a variety of jurisdictions.

- Overseeing the development of the technical functions: construction standards, commissioning standards, commissioning delivery, quality management standards, quality management delivery.

Who you are:

- University degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering or related field.

- 15 years of dynamically responsible and varied project development and management expertise. This includes 10 years of Manager/Director level experience in sophisticated multi-jurisdictional operations, project and field environments.

- Outstanding analytical, financial and business acumen, with a proven track record in management, process optimization and relationship management.

- Aptitude and communications skills related to leading and acting independently as a member of the Projects leadership team, coupled with outstanding negotiation and influencing capabilities.

- Strategic vision and the ability to analyze sophisticated situations and arrive at timely solutions.

- Effective leadership skills which includes attracting and retaining top talent, nurturing a collaborative, hard-working team-focused approach and inspire change in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

- High work ethic and able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous setting.

- Ability to work across geographic and cultural boundaries with ease.

- Flexibility to adapt to shifts in priorities and schedules.

Physical Requirements (Office) include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
