Experienced 310T & 310J Licensed Mechanics are urgently needed to work on a fleet of trucks in Mississauga, ON. These trucks come equipped with compressed natural gas or diesel engines, and GPS systems. The successful Diesel Technician will have strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills. Previous experience servicing and repairing Diesel Engines such as: Cummins, CAT, Detroit, Mercedes is required.
Job Requirements
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach License OR 310J Truck Trailer License
- Strong electrical & hydraulic background
- 3-5 years of heavy-duty shop experience
- Ability to weld/fabricate is an asset
- Own Tools, Valid Drivers License with clean abstract
Successful Truck & Trailer Mechanics are subject to background checks (criminal record, drug & alcohol testing)
Shifts
1st and 2nd shift openings available, with varied start times. Shift differential provided for afternoons. OT after 40 hours per week, technicians should be flexible to meet any OT requirements.
Compensation
$32.00 - $37.00/Hour + $1.50 Shift Premium. Full benefits package available after 600 working hours. (Dental, Drug, LTD, Travel, Life, AD&D;) $150/year Boot allowance + Uniforms provided.
