Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Human Resources Specialist is directly responsible for creating, managing and interpreting data to support the ongoing work within the Human Resources Department.
Responsible for the on-going design, development and maintenance of HR Reports.
Provide reporting and analytics support, including the generation of accurate and timely standard and ad-hoc reports.
Build effective data visualizations to convert HR data into usable and marketable insights for various audiences throughout the company.
Prepare and publish various reports and presentations on key HR metrics,
and communicate data analysis in a clear and compelling way to audiences at varying levels.
Provide technical HR analysis expertise.
Contribute to and drive process improvements for the HR effectiveness, reporting and analytics team.
Education and Experience
Five years of HR experience.
Post secondary degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline.
Experience with Business Intelligence, HRIS and ATS software.
Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies
Strong background and understanding of Human Resources in conjunction with strong analytical aptitude and technical skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Exceptional data analytics skills, including quantitative modelling and advanced Excel functions including Power Pivot and Power Query.
Prior experience with SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Taleo and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
