Scope and Purpose

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Café Manager and within the limits

of established dipndip Management policies and procedures and food and beverage

manuals, assist in overseeing and directing all aspects on the floor.

Related duties and responsibilities

- Assisting the Café Manager in supervising the day-to-day function

of all café employees, facilities and sales.

- Assisting the Café Manager in controlling on an ongoing basis of

the followings:

a. Guest Satisfaction and complaint handling

b. Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene

c. Ensures optimum performance

- Establishing and maintains effective employee relations

- Conducting on the job learning events for the café employees

- At all times to be aware of and practice good guest relations,

assisting the guest in any way.

- Attending to guest complaints satisfactorily.

- Attending meetings and training courses as required.

- Taking part in fire drills and evacuation drills at required intervals.

- Participating in service as necessary.

- Supervising employee’s grooming and appearance.

- Ensuring that stocks for daily use are met.

- Ensuring that employees are implementing up-selling techniques

during service.

Ensuring the cleanliness of the café and equipment.

- Supervising the preparation of the floor by:

a. Checking the reservations

b. Checking service stations

c. Briefing personnel before each shift.

d. Checking and signing all requisition forms before being

sent to the store

e. Ensures a working discipline and a smooth team work

between service and other departments.

f. Helping in the inventories.

g. Performing related duties and special projects as assigned.

h. Ensuring a team spirit and working discipline.

- Supervising the following:

- Cleaning floor equipment

- Cleaning ashtrays

- Polishing cutlery

- Polishing glassware

- Cleaning condiments and replenish them

- Cleaning service stations

- Cleaning and storing all trays

- Responsible for implementing daily check lists and cleaning


- Responsible to abide the local food safety and hygiene standards,

as well as the company procedures

Job Type: Full-time
