ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include travel requirements)
Ø Fully qualified in Q1, Q2 and Q3 levels****
Ø Responsible for product specifications (flow rates, ratios line speed, density, quality, etc.)
Ø Responsible for setting up control temperature according to product thickness, and construct proper piping per product thickness
Ø Responsible for quality of end use product
Ø Keep all work areas clean
Ø Shimming of laminator in a timely manner for the next run. Cross check operator’s shims before laminator is brought down for start up
Ø Adjusting pressures on injectors and adjusting chemical distribution on assistant of laminator on start-ups, hardware changes,
or when called upon in a timely manner
Ø At end of day ensure that any machinery or equipment is turned off, (i.e. laminator heaters, wax tips, and hot melt gun.)
Ø Entering correct flows, pentane percentage, and PID into HMI before a startup/job change.
Ø Announcing the raising and lowering of laminator
Ø Ensuring that quality in-spec insulation is being produced, (i.e. speeding/slowing speeds, raising/lowering of flows or pentane percentage.)
Ø Have undivided attention into the job at hand. Ensuring operators are efficient with our time and chemical use. (JE, OE)
Ø Be able to read and interpret all screens on the HMI
Ø Initiate pipe changes as needed and notifying dry end personnel
Ø Control chemical temperatures (i.e. use of heat exchangers, chiller, and the opening and closing of water valves)
Ø Control laminator temperatures
Ø Clean up on operator side of laminator
Ø Clean the exhaust ducts at the end of the shift
Ø All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Ø Regular, consistent physical attendance
Ø Ability to monitor and direct Wet End Q1-Q3 levels.
Ø Maybe assigned to set-up shift Supervisor in the absence of regular Supervisor.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (include Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations required)
Ø High School Diploma or GED.
Ø Certified Fork Lift Driver.
Ø Hazmat Spill Response Training.
Ø Emergency Evacuation Training.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES (include computer, language, mathematical, and analytical skills required)
Ø Language - Speak, read and write fluent English
Ø Reading - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance and procedure manual.
Ø Math - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide simple numbers; also whole number, decimals, fractions or calculate a percentage.
Ø Computer Skills; Beginner level of Word and Excel
Ø Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Ø Ability to use power and hand tools.
Ø Ability to provide relevant and timely information in a clear manner.
Ø Ability to promote a climate of involvement, cooperation and teamwork.
Ø Ability to plan a work schedule.
Ø Establish goals and priorities.
Ø Completes tasks in a timely manner.
