We are looking to hire an energized and passionate Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. They will ensure manufacturing and quality goals are achieved through teamwork and clear communication. Train and develop manufacturing engineers, supervisors, and operators for success in the team’s goals and for future opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the leadership team develop long-term objectives in support of Dorigo’s corporate vision.

Assume responsibility for formulating and achieving key results areas relating to manufacturing.

Develop and achieve departmental KPI’s.

Provide leadership to manufacturing operations and manufacturing engineering teams including SMT, Hand Soldering, Selective/Wave Soldering, Mechanical Assembly, Final Assembly, and Test.

Act as a change agent to bring about improvements in process through the empowerment of teams, enhanced utilization of existing equipment and implementation of new smart factory technologies.

Help develop more efficient ways to link people, equipment, materials, and information to improve overall operational effectiveness.

Working with necessary staff and departments to identify, address, and eliminate process related obstacles.



Lead and coach teams on:

value stream mapping techniques to design optimal information, material, and production flow methods.

cycle time analysis, time studies, work balance/flow improvements, workplace analysis and improvement.

Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

Proactively monitor and implement capacity planning initiatives.

Manage departmental budget, and develop plans improve costs and overhead.



Job Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum four-year degree or diploma in Engineering, Operations or Manufacturing and/or 10+ years’ experience related to manufacturing management.

Strong working knowledge of project mgmt., lean manufacturing, bottleneck analysis, time studies, and line balancing.

Sound knowledge of electronic components and EMS services including equipment is an asset.

Familiarity with the requirements to meet IPC-A-610 acceptability standard for class 3 assemblies and J-STD-001 is an asset.

Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across functions and levels.

Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities at once in a fast-paced environment.

Strong computer skills: MS Office and ERP systems.

Able to work flexible hours as needed to support entire production team.
