Reporting to the Team Lead, Corporate Applications, you will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Human Resource applications and their related systems; this can include ITSM, HR, and inventory applications and other corporate applications and integrations as assigned. You will determine how best to resolve application issues they encounter and quickly learn the applications, tools and technologies used by the Support teams as they perform issue resolution, day to day maintenance, upgrades and new system installations and configuration. You may assist in the development of new system and business processes and system/application enhancements as well as adhere to all applicable IT processes and may develop new processes and procedures where needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication, teamwork and problem solving abilities. In-depth knowledge and experience in the setup, installation and administration of enterprise applications, including a working knowledge or Windows operating systems (Server and PC) is a requirement. You must also have experience in dealing with clients, 3rd party support, vendors and end users as well as demonstrate knowledge of software lifecycle management, change management and project management.
A minimum of a University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
A minimum of 2 years related experience
A minimum of year progressive experience leading technical projects within a specific discipline
The following knowledge and qualifications are considered an asset:
Knowledge of HR systems; payroll, benefits and recruiting
Working knowledge of Windows Operating systems
Working knowledge of Integrations and middleware platforms
Working knowledge of Virtual infrastructure
Hands-on knowledge of and experience supporting enterprise and desktop applications.
Working knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle DB
Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies
Knowledge of network troubleshooting
Knowledge of Agile software development and Scaled Agile Framework
