Location: Calgary, AB
The Servicing Administrator is responsible for performing specific functions of the mortgage life cycle. These functions are required to maintain a performing mortgage asset and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the underwriting team to fund mortgages originated through our broker network. You will prepare and send instructional packages to solicitors, along with supporting documentation, and remain a point of contact until the file is funded. You will also be responsible for the day to day administrative activities involved in posting payment transactions, processing payout and discharge transactions for mortgage loans and handling customer inquiries.
The successful candidate will demonstrate sound decision-making skills and handle multiple tasks in an efficient and accurate manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Send instructional packages to solicitors
Review solicitor documentation
Mail communications to borrowers as required
Follow up on missed or late payments
Mortgage Payout Statements
Follow up on shortfall on paid out loans
Other duties as assigned
Education / Experience:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in business an asset
2+ years experience in residential mortgage funding or administration
Experience with non-conforming lending considered an asset
