You will become an expert at finding creative ways to identify exceptional talent who want to contribute to the team and have a significant impact. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for introducing Solink to the applicant, ensuring they feel welcome, delighted, informed and taken care of throughout the entire recruitment process. You will manage all coordination of interviews virtually and onsite. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for recruitment and enjoys connecting talented individuals with exceptional opportunities.

Please Note: We are currently operating remotely during the pandemic, however, in future, the requirement may be to work from the office.


You have a Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience

You have a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated Recruitment experience (preferred)

You have a solid understanding of the job market, best practices and trends in Recruitment

You have familiarity with online job websites

You have experience working with an HRIS and/or applicant tracking system (ATS) experience is preferred

You have strong MS Office/Google Suite skills

You are Target driven, confident individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

You have excellent research skills

You have excellent communication skills ( both written and verbal)

You are very organized -you dot every 'i' and cross every 't' to ensure we give all our candidates the best experience

You think on your feet and be adaptable—you don’t mind switching gears if plans suddenly change

You are a great listener and are on a constant quest to learn about people

You easily and quickly build relationships by liaising and interact with all types of personalities while maintaining professionalism

You have a natural ability to communicate with others and be a people person!

You are an empathic person who cares about building genuine relationships and you find it easy to strike up a meaningful conversation with everyone you meet.


Develop and update job postings, job descriptions, and job specifications

Work with hiring managers to determine the right skill set for the position

Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates

Prepare recruitment material and post jobs to appropriate job boards

Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, Linkedin etc.

Attend virtual recruiting events and meetups to represent Solink and help raise our profile as one of Canada’s top employers.

Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule

Assess applicant's relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes

Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team

Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Promote Solink's reputation as "best place to work"

Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities

Back up the HR Coordinator in other Administrative tasks, when required.
