What you will do:

KPMG in Québec is looking for a Proposal Manager with solid and creative business writing and project management skills.

The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams within the firm to develop high-quality proposals in order to obtain new mandates and support the firm’s growth in Québec.

Develop and tailor comprehensive and attractive proposals.

Guide the overall process for preparing proposals, from the request for proposal to the client presentation, which includes organizing the kick-off and other required meetings, developing the action plan and the work timetable, as well as monitoring deliverables.

Collaborate with lead partners and client service professionals to summarize detailed technical descriptions, showcase what sets KPMG apart and how clients benefit from our service offerings, and develop win themes.

Advise service teams in developing a mandate acquisition strategy.

Assist in the preparation of meetings with clients/bidders and oral presentation materials.

Work in collaboration with other marketing functions (Creation, Research, Functional and Segment marketing, etc.) to optimize effectiveness of the creative process and proposal quality.

Ensure that written submissions are KPMG Brand compliant and meet RFP requirements.

Organize internal follow-ups after proposals have been submitted to ensure ongoing process improvement.

Play an active role in the marketing and internal proposals community on both a regional and national level.

What you bring to this role:

Candidate must clearly demonstrate experience performing responsibilities similar to this advertised position: project management skills, detail orientation, ability to innovate and exceptional follow-up skills.

The successful candidate will possess, at a minimum, the following skills:

Minimum of five years of experience in business and/or proposal writing

BA/BS degree in Communication, Journalism, Commerce or other related field

Fully bilingual – French, English – written and spoken – with impeccable grammar and detail oriented

Experience working closely with business development teams

Capacity to work effectively within deadlines and short timeframes

Quick study and self-starter capable of working with little day-to-day supervision

Excellent coordination skills to manage multiple, disparate projects through completion

Ability to communicate and interact effectively and proactively with a wide range of professionals at every level of the organization

Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to create and modify styles in PowerPoint and Word

Agency work experience considered an asset.
