The Project Manager is responsible for being the liaison between sales, customers, and the installation team in order to coordinate and manage the successful completion of moderate to complex ADT by TELUS contracts within the budgeted timeframe and cost.





Duties and Responsibilities:

Clear understanding of project management principles and their practical application within the security industry, taking ownership of the project from sales to close

Effective use of computer software, ADT by TELUS software and job management software

Managing Action Queues, forecasting and providing oversight on moderate to complex jobs to completion within timelines and costs

Communication with clients (Internal / External)

Tracking parts and ensuring deliverables are met

National Installations and customer service

Management of client escalations

Time Management to accommodate multitasking in a fast pace environment

Common data entry and file administration

Customer Quality Assurance and job close out documentation delivery



Education:

Specialized college degree in project management would be an asset

3-years Bachelor's degree

Commerce, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, or any other relevant discipline; and/or relevant business experience



Experience:

3 to 5 years minimum in project management



Skills:

Bilingual English and French an asset

Experience in customer service management preferred.

Teamwork with other departments ( cross-functional)

Negotiation and Project Management skills

Understanding project methodology

Clear communication skills for planning

Organizational skills and detail oriented

Analytical, Budgetary and financial skills
