St. Joseph’s Care Group (SJCG) is seeking a Director, Employee Relations, Safety and Wellness to join its team. The Director plays a key role in fostering quality improvement, supporting a safe and healthy work environment and addressing current and future human resource needs. Leading a team of managers and additional staff, and working in collaboration with others within the People Mission Values team and the Care Group, the Director, Employee Relations, Safety and Wellness provides strategic and operational leadership to important services and initiatives, fostering an integrated team approach to service planning, delivery, budgeting, and managing fiscal and human resource.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate from a recognized post-secondary program with advanced educational and/or professional qualifications, and will posses several years’ of management experience along with specialized education, certification and/or demonstrated experience in Labour Relations, Occupational Health & Wellness and Occupational Safety, including experience with collective bargaining in a multi union organization.
