Job Description

sMAP CREATE Program Coordinator

The sMAP CREATE program is a multi-university, multi-disciplinary program aiming to foster a world-class, collaborative training environment and provide high qualified personnel with unique experiential training opportunities centered around technologies and best practices for smart mobility for the aging population funded by Natural Science and Research Council Canada. The program is looking for a part-time program coordinator based in McMaster University from January 2021 to August 31th 2021 with the possibility to convert to a full-time UNIFOR position at the end of the term. The hours are flexible with the option of working from home beyond the pandemic.


- Post-secondary degree from a reputable institution

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

- 3+ years of experiences in project management

- Prior experience working in healthcare industries a plus


- Tracking the progress of trainees in the program

- Generating project progress and financial reports

- Organization of events and outreach activities

- Web content and social media management

- Filing expense reports and budget reconciliation


- 30k/yr including benefits at 20hr/week.
