Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant/Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our office, providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.

Hours:

Monday 10am-7pm

Tuesday 9am-7pm

Wednesday 9am-6pm

Thursday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.




- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following areas:

- Medical terminology: Understanding of medical terms related to dentistry.
- Dental assisting: Previous experience as a dental assistant is highly desirable.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
