VersaPay

Toronto

Versapay has incredible customers! These are companies – no, leaders – who have chosen to invest their effort in a new product (ARC: Accounts Receivable Cloud) and lead a fundamentally new way to manage AR and raise the standard for how companies do business together. With over $5B in payment processing volume and thousands of happy customers, we continue to grow while looking for new ways to impact other markets.

Like Kleenex is to tissue and Google is to... Google, we’re on a mission to get Versapay to become synonymous with revolutionizing the AR process and creating the new standard in AR Automation. We’re creating a sea change and have BIG plans to grow.

And you’ll help us achieve this by showing the path that businesses can take to enable superior customer experience with our product, get paid faster, streamline financial operations and dramatically reduce costs along the way.

How you’ll make a huge impact here – and on your career:

- You’ll provide support for the technical elements of the sales cycle, being the go-to resource for the sales team, actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.

- You’ll work in lockstep with other internal teams to ensure that clients are set up for success, delivering advanced product demonstrations and securing a technical buy

- Articulate the value of ARC and what that means for their business, while showing product features and different use cases for our product based on your audience

- That means you’ll gain the trust of technical influencers within the prospective customers and become the “Trusted Advisor” for those prospects

- Create synergies across sales, product and customer success teams, constantly thinking about ways to programmatically and repeatedly demonstrate the platform and ways the platform could provide value

- Support potential customers in their evaluation of ARC platform, LOTS of proactive communication with them being key here

- With a complex product as ours, formulate and communicate the integration strategy between ARC and the prospects’ current systems

- Work with Product teams to provide feedback from the field, convey new requirements and help to refine the roadmap

- Also understand the competitive landscape in depth, and help the sales team articulate ARC’s differentiation against each significant competitor

- At times, participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events

What will you bring to the team?

- You’ve got a couple years’ experience in a similar role in B2B SaaS. Bonus points if you’ve got strong knowledge of accounting practices, fintech, banking or accounting software

- You’re naturally curious and confident, love to ask questions, listen and learn from conversations, and bring a solutions-oriented approach mixed with high technical aptitude and business acumen

- You’ve got an understanding of relational databases and being able to write basic SQL scripts to manipulate data for demonstration purposes

- You’re able to write in front-end web technologies such as CSS, HTML5 and JavaScript to manipulate UI for demos

- You’re able to install (and maintain) a local version of the platform through versioning technologies such as GIT

- You’ve got great energy that people gravitate toward and a pleasure to speak with, comfortable in front of customers and delivering presentations

- So you’re able to think on your feet, elicit customer requirements and translate that into estimated development hours and complexity while liaising with the Product team

- You’re constantly thinking about the customer, deriving avenues for savings and ROI specific to a prospect’s business

- You’re a maestro when it comes to client and project management – super-organized and time-management is second nature to you. This is important as you’ll need to context-shift and pivot esp. when working on several projects and priorities at the same time.

- You don’t shy away from detective work and problem solving (even when the answer isn’t obvious); finding solutions to problems excite you and you’re comfortable with the unknown and ambiguous.

All of Versapay’s employees live out our core values:

Curiosity - We learn quickly. We ask why…a lot. We love inventing new and better ways

Commitment - We are all-in. We give our best on every assignment

Honesty - We do what we say and say what we mean. We earn the trust that’s placed in us

Results - We get things done. We balance our curiosity with a drive to deliver

At Versapay, we are committed to providing an environment that is inclusive and accessible. Versapay is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment without discrimination. Please let us know if accommodation for the recruitment/interview process is required and we will work with you to make sure your needs are addressed.
