As the Senior Global Banking & Markets Front Office Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will contribute to the overall success of the Talent Acquisition team in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Your Career as the Senior Global Banking & Markets Front Office Talent Acquisition Consultant:

You'll be reporting to the Director of Global Banking & Markets Talent Acquisition,

and responsible for leading the end-to end recruitment process including communication with candidates, assessments, offer management and negotiation, and exception decisions from the business on salary and benefits. You will champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge while supporting more complex business lines working with executives and senior leaders and recruits for senior, complex and specialized roles. Our front office business lines in Global Banking & Markets are Global Capital Markets (including Sales and Trading), Corporate and Investment Banking, and Equity Research.

You will also manage complex compensation negotiations with candidates working with our HR and Total Rewards teams often. Building a strong pipeline of relationships and candidates will be essential to success in this role. Building deep relationships continues internally as you will partner with executive and senior leaders from intake through to advising on hiring decisions to successfully convert candidates to new hires. You will be sourcer and recruiter and partner with our Sourcing Specialists where needed to drive successful outcomes and acquire the best people.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

For this role, we believe in hiring people for our team based on skills and talent, over experience - noting that experience does help a lot when hiring such high-profile roles and the discussions and negotiations that must take place. Someone with multiple years of recruitment experience will have a significant advantage due to a much smaller learning curve. You will want to be someone who can manage a lot at once and manage many people/relationships at once. You need to be enthusiastic with a friendly and positive outlook to succeed on our tight-knit, high energy team. We love creativity and someone who has a strong voice and offers thought leadership. Organization is a key to success as is self-motivation. This is not a high-volume recruitment role, so it favours those with strong relationship management, stress management, and the ability to provide white glove service.


A College or University Degree or Post-Graduate Degree in a field relating to Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Commerce is preferred, though not required.

This role could require a small degree of travel (by car, rail or plane) within Canada or the USA. As well, due to the business hours of our front office professionals, this role is not always "9 to 5" and will require some work during evenings at times.
