The Canadian Stroke Prevention Intervention Network (C-SPIN) seeks to develop actionable strategies that will make Canada a global leader in clinical stroke research; ensure sustainability of these efforts through strategies to recruit, train, support and retain clinical scientists and in collaboration with government and stakeholder groups implement strategies to reduce the incidence of embolic stroke in Canada by 10% within 10 years.

This position will support the Research Coordinators in site management activities of the Canadian sites, which will include site selection , site start up, document submission to appropriate IRB/EC; essential document collection, regular teleconferences to discuss site status, including data quality,

drug adherence, and site issues. This position will be expected to assist in site management activities across Canada as required. This position will require frequent communication with external parties. This position will be expected to work directly in the site Trial Master File (TMF) and main study DataFax databases to identify and address site issues (e.g. outstanding TMF documentation, outstanding queries, etc.).

- College Diploma or equivalent experience

- Recent (5 years) experience with large clinical trials and/or cohorts.

- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and problem solving skills

- Demonstrated above average computer skills and knowledge of spreadsheets and databases.

- Demonstrated above average organizational skills.

- Demonstrated strong initiative and drive and the ability to be self directed.

- Demonstrated teamwork skills.

- Site Management experience is a must; data management experience preferred

- Proficiency in MS Access, Word, Powerpoint, Framemaker and Datafax.
