Are you a licensed Industrial Electrician OR a dual ticketed Millwright Electrician that lives in Guelph or the immediate surrounding area looking for a new opportunity on a straight DAY shift? If you have strong preventative maintenance planning skills, have experience maintaining CNC equipment, then keep reading!

In this role you will be:

- maintaining inventory of spare parts to minimize downtime

- scheduling preventative maintenance to have minimal impact on production time

- working in a self directed manner

- using a work order system - maintaining detailed notes for future follow up

- researching parts

- working with all levels of the organization

- be the sole person responsible for equipment maintenance in the facility

- working in an atmosphere that supports growth

- using all kinds of hand tools to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance


- straight day shift, located in Guelph (7 am - 3:30 pm)

- $34 - $39 hourly

- located on a bus route in Guelph if needed

- must be a licensed Electrician (442A or 309A), ideally you also have your Millwright license (433A)

- able to work in a controlled good facility (CGP)

- must have experience working in the automotive industry

- must have incredible self quality control

- willingness to learn, and flexible to help out in other areas when needed

- relatively clear criminal record

- must live within a 30 minute commute of Guelph

- flexible to be on call (most things can be figured out from home), called in approximately once every three months

- able to provide two work related, Supervisory references that attest to your quality of workmanship and communication

- strong communication skills

- computer literate with all Microsoft Office Programs
