Our client, a leading facility management organization, is seeking a Janitor/Cleaner to join their team. As a Janitor/Cleaner, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of the building setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Janitor/Cleaner

Location: Milton, ON

Pay Range: 19.25 per hour

Shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

- Maintain building and property in a clean and orderly condition
- Perform routine cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors
- Gather and empty trash receptacles regularly
- Sanitize and supply restroom facilities to ensure hygiene standards
- Clean windows, mirrors, partitions, and other surfaces with appropriate cleaning solutions

What's Needed?

- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar cleaning or custodial role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and computing skills, including familiarity with MS Word and Email, are advantageous
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures
