Position Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Pickering, ON, for the role of Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and manage quality control processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance programs, conducting audits, and analyzing data to uphold product quality. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards throughout the production process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities according to the SOP’s, cGMP and all other established safety standards.
- Responsible for creating and/or making formatting changes and edits to draft documents (SOPs, WI, MQP etc.).
- Initiate change control in QT9 QMS to update documents as required.
- Manage training documents and training matrix.
- Support and review master batch records (Manufacturing and Packaging)
- Issue, receive and archive batch records, logbooks,
and SOP Forms etc.
- Review batch documents according to SOPs and established priorities.
- Review sampling and testing documents as per SOPs.
- Retain sample management and inspection as per SOP.
- Log in sample and forward to the required testing laboratories.
- Update / review activities in QT9 QMS and QT9 ERP as required.
- Support any deviation / non-conformance investigations.
- Support customer complaint investigation as required.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education: Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree or college diploma (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of cGMP and understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging processes.
- Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player, with experience working in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer skills such as Word and Excel.
Experience: 5-10 years experience of production within Pharmaceutical/Cosmetic/Food Industry.
Note: Canadian work experience is not required. Equivalent international experience is accepted.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
