The Technical Support Specialist, reporting to the Technical Services Manager, will assist in solving technical-related support issues within Canada.


Support the DeLaval field staff and dealer employees in technical product related questions

Log and respond to queries in a timely manner

Provide technical, classroom-based training for field staff and dealer employees

Maintain a strong customer-focus on a daily basis

On-call duty as rotationally assigned by the Technical Services Manager

Other responsibilities as assigned


Strong customer focus, with a sense of urgency to resolve problems or issues

Strong communicator, especially over the phone

Work cross-functionally; can function well as a member of a team

Strong conflict management skills

50% travel required


Associate’s Degree or equivalent in a related field preferred

2-4 years of experience working with dairy equipment required

Experience in the dairy industry preferred

Solid understanding of dairy cow udder physiology and dairy milking systems required

Experience working with dealers preferred

Strong English skills required, ability to speak French preferred
