Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for performing the necessary job tasks and activities assigned to process the flow of goods through the Distribution Centre. These processes are wide-ranging and will include, but are not limited to: receiving of goods; unloading of trucks, trailers and containers; palletizing of inbound and outbound goods; outbound order picking and processing; order packing and processing; lift truck, stock picker and floor sweeper operation (dependent on tasks assigned); and loading of products as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate various types of material handling equipment (i.e., Walkie Rider, Forklift, MHE, Reach, Center Rider) in order to complete tasks, such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting product
• Work collaboratively with the Operations Managers, area coordinators and other associates to effectively complete assigned tasks
• Deliver outstanding customer service to internal distribution teams and to our stores by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner

• Able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions:
• Working a set schedule
• Warehouse environment that can be dusty and noisy
• Passing forklifts emit gas fumes
• Doors are frequently open, causing drafts and interior temperature changes

Minimum Education:
• High school Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum Years of Work Experience:
• 1 to 2 years of distribution centre experience an asset

Minimum Leadership Experience:
• N/A

Certifications:
• N/A

Other Requirements/Assets:
• Knowledge of operating forklifts is an asset.
