Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Information Security Officer based in Hamilton, ON. The Chief Information Security Officer will oversee the development and implementation of robust information security strategies, manage cybersecurity initiatives, and ensure the protection of digital assets. Responsibilities include leading efforts in business continuity, information security management, and assessing application security risks. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Information Security Management and Information Security strategy development
- Strong expertise in Cybersecurity and Application Security practices
- Experience in Business Continuity planning and execution
- Ability to assess security risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
- Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field;
- Advanced certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience in Fintech/ Payments industry preferred
