Role Description

React Development

- Develop and maintain modular, reusable React components, ensuring best practices for code maintainability and performance.

- Implement state management solutions such as Redux and Context API to manage application state effectively.

- Utilize React lifecycle methods and hooks (e.g., useState, useEffect) to manage component state and side effects.

- Write unit and integration tests for React components using Jest and React Testing Library.

jQuery & Legacy Code Maintenance

- Maintain and refactor legacy code written in jQuery to ensure compatibility with contemporary React applications.

- Use jQuery for DOM manipulation when React is not feasible or when integrating third-party libraries dependent on jQuery.

- Implement event handling using jQuery where it is more appropriate than React.

Code Quality & Standards

- Follow coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines to ensure consistency and high-quality deliverables.





- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and promote knowledge sharing across teams.

Essential Skills

- Strong experience in ReactJS

- Hands-on experience with:

- Redux

- Context API

- React Hooks (useState, useEffect)

- Unit and integration testing using:

- Jest

- React Testing Library

- Experience working with jQuery

- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and performance optimization

- Code review and best practice enforcement experience
