Have fun and work on a fantastic team! Chef Joe Friday and Friday Burger Company (FBC) are looking to hire positive and dynamic Front-of-House Team Members. We are looking for an energetic, out-going, personable, and detail-oriented individual to manage our front-of-house customers.

Friday Burger Company is the first quick-service burger restaurant founded by Chef Joe Friday (Luma, VaiVai, Calii Love, Friday Roots, The Chef Collective). Chef Joe Friday was born in North Carolina, raised in Okinawa, Japan, and trained in French Cuisine. Educated at the Culinary Institute of America in New York City, Friday has also staged at top restaurants in the US, Japan, Norway and England. Friday Burger Co is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, in the brand new Table Food Hall on the 4th floor of 81 Bay Street. Table Food Hall is a state of the art culinary destination with unique and independent restaurant kiosks. Located near the Scotiabank Area, Union Square, and many office towers, Friday Burger Co will be a food destination for many Torontonians during lunch, dinner and before & after the game!

Responsibilities of a FBC Team Member include:

- Front-of-house point of sales where you will be greeting customers in a friendly manner
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer experience
- Working effectively with our Lightspeed point of sale (POS)



system and efficiently and accurately taking customer orders; handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Organizing and preparing customer orders across multiple platforms (Ritual, UberEats, DoorDash, etc.)
- Delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests
- Balancing high volume with high quality
- Working seamlessly in collaboration with kitchen staff and other team members
- Participating in ongoing training and development
- Follow company policies and procedures for food handling and safety

Job Qualifications

- Previous experience with point-of-sales system and front of house experience at a quick-service or full service restaurant
- 2-3 years of restaurant experience
- Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced, high volume environment
- Self-motivated achiever interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities
- Open availability and flexibility is a must; ability to work any shift
- Able to legally work in Canada
- Potentially lifting and/or moving up to 20 lbs

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
