COPYWRITER – BRAND & MARKETING
At Warehouse One, we support two of Canada’s most iconic denim and casual fashion retailers—Bootlegger and Warehouse One, the Jean Store. With over 140 stores coast to coast and growing e-commerce channels, our goal is simple: help Canadians look and feel great in clothes they love.
As the Copywriter – Brand & Marketing, you will be responsible for creating brand-right, persuasive, and engaging copy that elevates product storytelling, supports marketing campaigns, enhances ecommerce experiences, and strengthens brand voice across all customer touchpoints. This includes ecommerce content, email, digital ads, social media, store marketing communications, brand storytelling, and scripts for video and radio. You will work closely with teams across Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, Merchandising, and Store Operations to ensure that all messaging is consistent, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.

What you’ll be a part of
- Writing creative, clear, concise, and brand-right copy for omnichannel marketing including: emails, website content, landing pages, digital ads, social media, print collateral, and campaign assets
- Store marketing communications including in-store signage, retail campaign kits, customer messaging, and operational communications
- Developing ecommerce-optimized product descriptions, features, and enhanced content for product pages across websites
- Creating scripts for video content, voiceovers, and radio advertising, ensuring alignment with brand tone, campaign direction, and customer engagement goals
- Writing blog posts, editorial content, lifestyle storytelling pieces, and educational “how-to” articles and guides.
- Collaborating with Ecommerce and Merchandising teams to ensure product copy is accurate, compelling, and aligned with assortment strategy
- Supporting SEO performance through keyword integration, metadata writing, and structuring content for improved organic search visibility
- Proofreading and editing to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice
- Inputting product data and syncing imagery within internal systems to ensure complete and accurate content publishing
- Gathering content inputs and sourcing required product and campaign information from cross-functional partners
- Writing ads for print publications, social media platforms, Google campaigns, and various digital placements
- Managing multiple concurrent copywriting projects and deadlines with strong organization and prioritization
- Recommending improvements to copy processes, workflow tools, and team collaboration practices
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in copywriting, digital content creation, or marketing communications (retail or fashion experience is an asset)
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills across multiple formats and tones
- Ability to write persuasive, conversion-focused copy for ecommerce, email, digital ads, social media, and store communications
- Experience writing scripts for video, radio, or broadcastcontent
- Strong understanding of SEO content best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across high-volume deliverables
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset, comfort working cross-functionally, and openness to feedback
- Initiative, accountability, and passion for storytelling, brand voice, and customer experience
