Security Guard

Responsibilities

- Patrol assigned sites and monitor for safety and security risks
- Control access points and verify identification
- Monitor CCTV, alarms,



and security systems
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and service calls
- Enforce site rules and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance
- Write clear and accurate incident and shift reports
- Liaise with supervisors, clients, and emergency services

Qualifications

- Valid BC Security Licence
- Valid Basic First Aid is an asset
- BC Class 5 driver’s license
- Reliable transportation (site-dependent)
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Previous security or customer service experience
- Experience with patrols, access control, and CCTV systems
