We are seeking amotivated and agile leader with strong achievement, innovation, collaboration,and communication skills to work directly with the head of supervision oninitiatives, and lead a communications, change management,
project and policymanagement team within People, Process & Technology (PP&T;). Our teamsupports FISC's mission and partners with our core business lines throughpriority setting and delivering projects and managing policies issued by theBoard for internal and external stakeholders.
Within PP&T;, you willbe charged with not only partnering with the head of supervision on manyinternal and external projects, but will lead the team responsible for acommunications, program, and project management, strategic, and task- orientedactivities for core business lines. The project and program management teamwill also help ensure compliance with supervisory policy management activitiesas directed by Board guidance.
Oversee the managerresponsible for working directly with the head of supervision on any keyprojects or initiatives. These can range from leading culture improvementefforts, developing briefing memorandum for internal or external stakeholders,and providing clear, concise and timely communications to FISC staff on amyriad of topics.
Lead the project management function within PP&T; and FISC, setting the vision and direction of the team and collaborating with colleagues and senior leadership. In addition, guide the team to identify and escalate project risk, communicating status to key partners.
Design and implement project management processes and policies to support the overall vision and goals of FISC.
Establish and guide the strategic direction of the group, and working closely with team managers and staff members to ensure areas of focus are aligned with our mission to be the premier public service organization and our strategic objective to provide thought leadership and executable efficiencies. To this end, the successful candidate will reevaluate project delivery channels and identify the near and medium term changes needed to improve efficiencies.
Lead the communications team in providing timely, concise, and thoughtful information on culture, policy, and projects.
Champion innovation and demonstrate agility, while ensuring the team's focus evolves appropriately with a focus on the supervision needs of core business lines.
Own all aspects of the unit's talent management and development needs, including mentoring to ensure continuous development of skills, proficiencies and talent pipeline, and encouraging a culture of accountability among the team. This includes establishing environments for cross-functional collaboration or job sharing/rotational opportunities.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with core supervision lines, Bank staff, Federal Reserve System (System), and other partners to facilitate collaboration that is considered pertinent to the group's engagement objectives.
Participate and engage team to contribute to System committees or in areas of responsibility that are aligned with the team's objectives.
Manage resources and balance trade-offs when considering local needs, and System supervision and policy priorities.
An undergraduate degree.
10+ years of professional experience, preferably in banking, finance, or banking supervision including 5+ years of leadership, project and communications experience.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly.
Ideal candidates will be very comfortable and experience in public speaking and have executive level presentation skills.
Be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or hold a permanent resident/green card with intent to become a U.S. Citizen.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
