As a Refrigeration Mechanic Journeyman here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our field service team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our field service operations and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

You will report directly to our Sr. Field Service Supervisor, and your work will be focused on one customer based out of Hamilton, Ontario.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of our field service operations and the satisfaction of our customers, serving multiple lines of business including manufacturing, condominium and healthcare and long-term care facilities. Your technical expertise and support will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our services.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ This position requires travel within Hamilton and surrounding area.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance functions and troubleshooting of machinery to reduce downtime and maximize efficiencies.

+ Operate and maintain all mechanical equipment and other equipment including chillers, refrigeration, boilers, pumps, compressors, condensers, and HVAC systems.

+ Responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems.

+ Provide end-to-end delivery of Honeywell solutions.

**Hourly rate for this position is $62.40/hour as per the Collective Labor Agreement, Union Local 787 located in Hamilton, Ontario.**

**YOU MUST HAVE**

+ HVAC Journeyman 313A License.

+ G1 Gas Fitter License.

+ Ozone Depletion Prevention License.

+ Be a member of Local UA 787 or willing to be part of Local UA 787.

+ Valid G Driver's License.





+ Minimum 5 years' experience working with major mechanical systems (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, air handling units, heat wheels, air conditioning units and water treatment systems) and commercial refrigeration.

+ Minimum 5 years' experience interpreting and working from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

+ Minimum 3 years experience using MS Office and other computerized maintenance management systems and submitting work orders promptly on a daily basis.

+ Ability to lift 35 lbs. frequently and working at heights from lifts and ladders.
