Job Description: Part time tutors/teachers who are enthusiastic, have strong Knowledge in teaching strategies, good communication skills and should be able to teach Math and English for ages 4-14. No lesson plans required. Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education or College degree in Math and English. OCT/ESL Certified. (nice to have) Minimum 1 year of experience. Consideration will also be given to teachers holding an interim or temporary Certificate of Qualification and Registration from the OCT and students registered in a Bachelor of Education Program. Responsibilities: Enthusiastic, patient, strong communication skills. Love for teaching Teachers must complete hours of observation and training. Teach and instruct with a teacher to student ratio of 1:4. Be comfortable teaching both Math and English (reading and writing strategies) for ages 3-14 years. Keeping track of student progress and providing feedback to parents/center administrators. No prior preparation needed for class. All answer keys provided. Ability to teach Primary/Intermediate/Secondary levels in Math and English. Attend teacher team meetings.
