Role Description

Information technology specialists will work closely with a variety of technology products, from their design to regular repair and upkeep. They will provide their services as-needed for Kingdon Timber Mart and Kingdon Truss regarding software, hardware, and databases, he/she may also create entire databases and programs for either individual or corporate needs. IT may train other employees in information technology (IT), such as other employees who must understand the ins and outs of their company’s data entry system. Information technology specialists are always learning, as technology is constantly changing and advancing at remarkable rates.

DUTIES:

- Coordinate with other IT personal
- Become the Bistrack point person for both training and expertise and implementation of new modules within Bistrack
- Be able to write and work with crystal reports in Bistrack
- Provide end-user support for a variety of web applications.
- Troubleshoot information technology-related issues for both hardware and software.
- Install/ Coordinate the set-up of data services,



as well as phone, computer, and printer installation.
- Install/ Coordinate the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology products.
- Work on all computer and network systems
- Computer and system training
- Work on Phone systems
- Work on Moneris/payment systems
- Work on Security Cameras
- Work on TVs, Projectors and sound systems
- Work on POS and ERP systems
- Cell phones: equipment Lists, and contracts
- Work on IT equipment list
- Coordinate the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology products.

· Troubleshooting pc component of manufacturing equipment

- Maintain, manage, troubleshoot and upgrade computer systems and servers for performance and security related issues.

Work on and or be familiar with the following:

Mitek Sapphire, Weyerhaeuser Javelin, BisTrack Epicor, Woodpro, building and work on websites in Wordpress and Woocommerce, ecommerce site, building supply industry, OAC, manufactory systems, technical design, Microsoft SQL Server, crystal reports.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Network Administration and general Information Technology systems management
- Solid skills in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently
- Experience in maintaining and implementing Network Security protocols
- Excellent Customer Service skills to support staff with IT-related challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- Prior experience in the building supply or retail industry is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
