Outside Sales Representative – Lighting & Electrical

BRITE-LITE Lighting and Electrical Distributors is seeking a motivated, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for a confident salesperson with a proven ability in cold calling and closing new business.

Responsibilities

- Generate recent business through cold calling, networking, and in-person sales calls selling to end-user businesses
- Develop and manage a sales territory to achieve and exceed targets
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
- Convert calls and meetings into documented opportunities using our call-sheet/CRM system
- Negotiate pricing and close sales while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Upsell LED lighting and related products
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer and sales objectives

Requirements

- Only applicants with 1+ years of lighting sales experience will ONLY be considered




- Solid cold-calling and new business development skills (required)
- Outside B2B sales experience of lighting or electrical industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong time and territory management abilities
- Customer-focused approach with relationship-building skills
