**Location:** Vancouver, BC or Edmonton, AB

**What You'll Be Doing**

+ Provide vision and strategies to maximize alternative fuels and raw materials, supporting CO2 roadmap targets.

+ Develop and implement sourcing, treatment, and delivery strategies with internal and external stakeholders.

+ Assess economical supply chains and competitive waste treatment options, including Waste-to-Energy systems.

+ Build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, supply chain actors, and regulatory agencies.

+ Manage permitting constraints, market development, and contracting in coordination with Procurement teams.

**What Are We Looking For**

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Business, or related field; 5+ years in alternative fuels or recycling management.

+ Strong knowledge of sourcing, usage, and techno-economic evaluations; understanding of cement processes and environmental regulations.

+ Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and team-building skills; entrepreneurial mindset.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing situations.

+ Ability to address public meetings, communicate critical issues,



and willingness to travel frequently.

**Work Setting**

This role involves collaboration across multiple teams and external partners, with frequent travel required. The position is based in a fast-paced industrial setting where adaptability and proactive engagement are key to success.
