**About Us**

ENTRUST Canada is a premier engineering consulting firm serving the electric power delivery industry, with expertise in Transmission, Substation, and Distribution systems from 4160V to 500kV.

**Role Overview**

As an Engineering Intern, you will assist our design teams in developing and reviewing engineering designs, performing engineering calculations, and conducting field inspections. **This is a 16-month internship program starting in May 2026, that will require partnership through university.**

**Responsibilities**

+ Develop current designs by applying knowledge of utility electrical systems and their operation

+ Review designs against applicable industry codes and standards as well as internal standards

+ Apply engineering calculations to various project challenges to develop complete and competent designs

+ Prepare estimates, material take offs, scopes of work, survey packages and design packages

+ Assist in the preparation of engineering reports

+ Prepare design packages for construction

+ Perform quality review of project deliverables

+ Conduct site visits for field reconnaissance during the project design phase and field inspections during the project construction phase

**Qualifications**

+ Eligible for internship through a university program

+ Ability to work in design teams and take the initiative to learn the position

+ Self-motivated to perform assigned tasks

+ Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

+ Strong computer design skills and ability to learn new software packages efficiently

+ $27-$28/hour CAD
