Position: Retail Store Supervisor

Shift: Second Shift (2:00 pm to 9:00 pm)

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers.
• Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules.
• Authorize payments and the return of merchandise.
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise.




• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
• Assist with the recruitment and training of recent employees and monitor and report on their performance.
• Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage, and cleanliness.
• When necessary, perform the same duties as workers supervised.
• Assist with key holding and managerial responsibilities, such as opening and closing the store, dealing with escalated complaints, and implementing marketing strategies.

Job Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Demonstrated retail sales experience.
• Supervisory experience would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve common goals.
