Permanent Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week | Shifts vary between the hours of 8 am and 5pm.
Pay Rate: $29.42 per hour (based on current funding)

In this Role, you will contribute to the Community by ...

- Planning and implementing a stimulating, developmentally appropriate play-based program for children and their families
- Working as part of a team of Childcare Workers and monitor the quality of the program
- Providing a warm and nurturing setting for children and families
- Maintaining effective communication with staff, parents and coordinator
- Ensuring the health and safety of the children
- Acting as a positive role model for the children

Please apply if you have ...

- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the area of Early Childhood Education and development.
- Previous experience working with toddlers is an asset.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act and use of environmental assessment tools.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff, parents, children, and the public.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Registered Early Childhood Educator Diploma
- College of Early Childhood Educators registration number
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check document
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
- Vaccine Verification - As a condition of employment you are required to provide confirmation that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 or have proof of valid exemption satisfactory to the employer.
