Overview
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Growth Analytics team. This team is at the forefront of product development, conducting research, reporting, and experimentation. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a willingness to collaborate across teams, an insatiable curiosity, and the patience to navigate complex and ambiguous challenges.
What You'll Do
- Drive growth by empowering the organization with well-founded hypotheses, insights, and recommendations that prioritize and build product roadmaps through proactive analysis.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive analytics workflows, including defining critical metrics and data instrumentation, in collaboration with cross-functional partners to understand their business priorities.
- Improve the team's efficiency by partnering with Engineering to optimize data quality and analytics foundations.
- Design, launch, and analyze AB tests to validate growth hypotheses and measure the impact of product features.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, commercial, engineering, and other teams to develop a comprehensive analytics roadmap.
- Translate analytical outcomes into compelling narratives/presentations for leadership reviews.
- Implement best practices and automation to improve the overall efficiency of the team.
What We Look For
- 3+ years of proven experience in an analytical role
- Experience extracting and joining large data sets with SQL and performing analysis using Python, Notebooks, R,
or Excel
- Foundational understanding of designing and conducting hypothesis tests
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing team objectives
- Robust intuition for customer needs and the ability to understand customer behavior using data
- Ability to deconstruct ambiguous problems into tangible steps and develop impactful solutions
- Proficiency in communicating research and analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
- Eagerness to assist colleagues and motivation to optimize work processes
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience managing cross-functional relationships and collaborating on projects
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Pay Grade: K
- Equity Grade: 4
- Base pay range per year: $109,000 - $159,000
- Employees may be eligible for equity rewards and a total compensation package that may include stipends for health, wellness and tech spending
