Job Opportunity

The Facilities Manager position oversees the lifecycle, performance, and reliability of industrial assets, including cardlock systems, dispensers, pumps, tanks, and physical property infrastructure. This role leads a high-performing facilities team and ensures all sites meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standards across Western Canada.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of asset acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning, specifically for cardlock and tank rental assets.
- Maintenance of an accurate asset register and timely replacement or refurbishment planning.

- Leadership & Team Management:

- Leading a safety-focused facilities team, including a Maintenance Coordinator and Facilities Lead.
- Reinforcing company standards and building a culture of accountability, pride, and engagement.
- Holding coordinators and contractors to high performance, communication, and process standards.

- Asset Lifecycle Management:

- Coordinating upgrades, expansions, and tank deployments, while managing contractors, vendors, and internal resources.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards across Western Canada.





- Financial Oversight:

- Managing project budgets and tracking lifecycle costs.
- Providing recommendations for capital investments and supporting pricing and ROI analysis for tank rentals.

- Site Selection & Development:

- Evaluating potential current sites for cardlock and tank rental expansion.
- Conducting market research, assessing permitting and zoning requirements, and leading build-outs from concept to launch.

- Stakeholder & Vendor Support:

- Serving as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, vendors, service partners, and clients regarding asset-related issues.
- Providing timely communication and support to ensure smooth operations.

- Tools & Systems:

- Utilizing SharePoint, Outlook, project management software, fuel/tank monitoring systems, and standard office and field tools for site visits.

- Physical & Travel Requirements:

- Frequent travel across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba (up to 4 days per month).
- Ability to inspect equipment, climb ladders/stairs, and navigate construction and field environments.
